"Since the general civilization of mankind, I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of freedoms of the people by gradual and silent encroachment of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations." - James Madison

How Many Examples Do You Need?

To the People of the United States:

How many examples of blatant disregard for your liberty do you need before you will wake up?

Get OFF your couches, go talk to your neighbors, get past your fears, and get involved!  If not for yourselves, do it for your children and grandchildren.  Do it because you love freedom.  Do it because you want choice.

If THIS doesn’t get you ANGRY enough to start caring, then I do not know what will.  Maybe you feel there really aren’t choices out there.  Maybe there isn’t a person or party that represents your concerns.  If your concern is for freedom in the absence of government constraint, then I do.  If you want a government that serves the function of securing your liberty, providing for common defense, ensuring domestic tranquility, then I do.  If you want the Bill of Rights inviolate, then I do.

There is SO MUCH to do it can seem overwhelming, insurmountable.  That is exactly the impression that is supposed to made upon you.  Do you want to fight the chaos?  Then you had better start!

Your Friend,

Publius Alter
