"Since the general civilization of mankind, I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of freedoms of the people by gradual and silent encroachment of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations." - James Madison

To The People of the United States:

The past President and the current Administration have failed our brave military service men and women.

They have turned, considering our technological advantages and superior training, what should have been a very aggressive, short campaign into a protracted engagement with no end in site and limited objectives.

War, once entered into after every other diplomatic option has been eliminated, must be prosecuted viciously and honorably.  We need not engage in war crimes; but the war should be swift.  It should be ugly.  It should be so horrible that future generations will remember what happens when any Nation attacks the United States.  They should lose all desire for it.

In the aftermath we should be compassionate, but not during.

We have failed to wage war.  We have failed to provide the necessary forces, equipment, supplies, and support for our field commanders to achieve victory.

We should have gone into Afghanistan with a minimum of 250,000 combat troops.

Ask me why.
