CIA probes Afghan base security after bomber kills 7

WASHINGTON/KABUL (Reuters) – The CIA vowed on Thursday to avenge the deaths of seven officers in a suicide bombing in Afghanistan and to investigate security breaches that allowed the second deadliest attack in agency history.

Afghan attacks kill 7 CIA employees, 5 Canadians

KABUL (Reuters) – A suicide bomber penetrated a foreign army base in Afghanistan and killed seven CIA employees on Wednesday, one of the U.S. agency’s largest death tolls, while four Canadian troops and a journalist died in a separate attack.

Pakistan seeks terrorism charges against Americans

Afghan insurgents seize 2 French journalists

Plot exposes fissure in U.S. intelligence community
