This site is dedicated to positive and moral changes that will bring back Liberty to this great nation. This is your Press!
What is Publius Ex Silenti Ect?
Direct from Latin means, Publius from the Dead. It is the return of the friend of the people. A friend that has no desire for power or money or to rule over you. But a friend that wishes to do more than just give you information. A friend that wishes to bring those of like minds together for the purpose of taking action. Taking action takes courage, but it is the only way to save our Liberty.
The question we pose to you is: do you desire an open and honest change that brings back a moral government that is not obsessed with power and control? Have you grown tired of the ‘left vs. right‘ argument across some invisible aisle that, even if it was real, it really doesn’t seem to exist? Do you look at a politician and think to yourself, “His lips are moving, he must be lying about something.” Are you tired of empty promises of change from both sides of the dominating parties, and then feeling like regardless of how you vote or who you vote for, you keep getting the same thing over and over?
I’m sure you have read or heard somewhere that the very definition of insanity is ‘doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting a different result.’ Does this describe how you often feel?
Then wake up America and stand up and say Enough!
Get involved and take action!
Who is Publius Alter?
For those of you who have read the Federalist Papers, you may remember seeing that they were signed by Publius. Publius is the Latin term meaning Public or “friend of the people”, or as referred to by the authors of the Federalist Papers, a “Servant of the People”.
Alter in Latin means quite literally “other (of two)”. The dictionary definition today says “to make different without changing into something else“. You may think of it as the ‘other Publius’ or ‘Publius the second’.
It is our hope this will remind those of you who are lovers of Liberty the blessings we have, what the Constitution means, and the intent the framers truly had when forging the document that should be the guiding document of what our government does to safeguard those liberties. We hope our discussions will invigorate in you the desire to read and remember that vital part of our history: the founding of our Nation.
But how can you take action?
Keep reading, and over the coming weeks and months more information will be presented here on this site that we hope will help to open your eyes: to understand not only what has happened and but how it has happened. To understand our present we must learn our past. This will give you a footing to take action and do something that really will bring about a positive change nothing short of securing your liberty for yourself but for your posterity: not some fictitious elusive change or some undefined change in a direction that is unexpected.
Unfortunately, there are many hardships to standing up and taking action, because in the beginning there are some downsides to exposing the truth.
The main one is the more we all stand up as a ‘minority‘ group of people or the more we research and share with you, the more we may sound like we are spouting conspiracy and betrayal: this has the real potential to make us and you all sound like crazy people. The truth of what has happened and what is happening right in front of you is often times hard to believe, let alone swallow.
But before you believe what anyone says, whether it is on this site, some other site, the government or a politician, or anyone else, we ask, no we beg, you to first do your own research: read, ponder, and really ask if what you are reading or seeing is true. Take the time to understand it.
Then by empowering yourself, you will have the tools to talk to your neighbors, friends and those in your local communities. You will have the tools to truly take action and influence a change that leads to more Liberty and more control over your own life. This is an organic grassroots movement.
Think about those two words: Organic and Grassroots.
Organic:
- 1. Constituting an integral part of a whole; fundamental.
2. Law Denoting or relating to the fundamental or constitutional laws and precepts of a government or an organization.
Grassroots:
- 1. People or society at a local level rather than at the center of major political activity. Often used with the.
2. The groundwork or source of something.
This is based around your community and you. By starting small and getting to know your neighbors and first making changes at the local level, we can become a majority: first on one level, then on higher levels. A Grassroots movement is natural, simple and local. The most effective way to make positive changes is to start from the bottom and go up… not the other way around.
This site is the official medium for the grassroots effort to help America Unite proudly: to once more find those with the courage to bring back the moral and ethical principles of a Republic that stands for Liberty, Freedom, and Justice without respect for Race, Religion, Creed, Sex or Income.
Your Humble Servant,
Publius Alter
